About St James Tavern Piccadilly

Interior of St James Tavern Piccadilly

Based in Piccadilly, St James Tavern is in the perfect location for those visiting the Piccadilly Lights, Eros Statue, Crystal Maze, China Town and Body Worlds Exhibition.

A pub has stood on this site since 1733. Originally called The Catherine’s Wheel, it became St James Tavern when the current building, including its specially designed tiles, was erected in 1896. Frequented by celebrities, such as Charles Dickens and Dick Turpin, it still attracts famous names from nearby theatres. You never know who might be sitting behind you as you enjoy a quiet drink or our some delicious traditional pub food.

We serve a great range of food, from hand battered fish & chips, sharing platters packed full of camembert and burgers, to great British snacks including sausage rolls and scotch eggs. We also have a great selection of cocktails, beers and spirits to suit everyone’s taste.

Call in for lunch, grab a drink after work, book a buffet for a party or settle in for dinner.
